The Pinnacle@Duxton

The first outing with Love in 2010, besides New Year’s.

It was a visit to the Pinnacle@Duxton. Not many know this place existed but it was one those HDB projects that they came up with to make flats that were 50 storeys and above! wicked right?!

and at the top of this family of HDB flats actually lies a garden that was built to be a tourist attraction so that tourists can come from afar and actually see the whole of Singapore from the top of that garden.

okay, so were done with the intro. so love and me had a meal at pearl centre and walked to the 7 tall skyscrapers, it wasnt that difficult to get that lost, really.

We actually got lost at the flats actually because there were still flats under construction and we went up to the wrong block. LOL. anyway, we did managed to find our way around and here we are!

Once me and love got ourselves accustomed with the height, we started to walk around. The garden actually stretched 7 blocks long and the setting of the place was just wonderful..Look at the pictures below…

We managed to catch sunset and it was one of those beautiful moments esp. when the sun disappeared…

but the journey continued…

 

Over at night, I sang to her a few rendition of songs and at the same time we sang songs that were so old that even those reading wouldn't have guessed. Even my iPod died, the song continued and we sang well. (We knew we were singing well because it didn't rained after that :P)

and so before we took our leave, we took a few pictures of an unforgettable night and one to make a lasting impression of this visit.

   

Overall, I like this visit. (Y) I give it 5 stars! and to love, “you make real for me” and so thank you so much for today. Love the pictures and please dont sigh if the pictures you gave me were downsized okay? me still love you :)
