Bored at Work.

Oh well, since its been a long time since i updated my blog and my 1st day of iep is quite a bore while waiting the clock to run down to 5:15.

here we go! (time check: 3:01PM)

so...since my last post was in the end of january, i'll continue on to where it ended from there.

School has ended. UT3 was quite okay. Sadly, my team didnt get the FYP project that we wanted. I was selected for IEP which describes why I am here on my 1st day of work blogging.

To be honest, this is the 1st time that i actually am working. my day today kinda like started LATE. I came back from KL at 4am last night and thus i missed the alarm clock for this morning. On the way there, i felt like burying my head deep in the sand. it was my first day of work in my life and i woke up late?! LOL...

anyway, i arrived 10 minutes late and met up with the rest of my W24 peeps. Today was more or less on the training side but it feels so much of a bore. Thankfully, each one of us are given a desktop and this is like a lifesaver.

On the side of love, things have been going well between me and love and we visited keppel bay tgt for valentines. for more info you can visit her blog.

okay then...thats it for now, i dont want to get caught by boss blogging. lol...take care folks and do keep a lookout for my twitter :)

The Pinnacle@Duxton

The first outing with Love in 2010, besides New Year’s.

It was a visit to the Pinnacle@Duxton. Not many know this place existed but it was one those HDB projects that they came up with to make flats that were 50 storeys and above! wicked right?!

and at the top of this family of HDB flats actually lies a garden that was built to be a tourist attraction so that tourists can come from afar and actually see the whole of Singapore from the top of that garden.

okay, so were done with the intro. so love and me had a meal at pearl centre and walked to the 7 tall skyscrapers, it wasnt that difficult to get that lost, really.

We actually got lost at the flats actually because there were still flats under construction and we went up to the wrong block. LOL. anyway, we did managed to find our way around and here we are!

Once me and love got ourselves accustomed with the height, we started to walk around. The garden actually stretched 7 blocks long and the setting of the place was just wonderful..Look at the pictures below…

We managed to catch sunset and it was one of those beautiful moments esp. when the sun disappeared…

but the journey continued…

 

Over at night, I sang to her a few rendition of songs and at the same time we sang songs that were so old that even those reading wouldn't have guessed. Even my iPod died, the song continued and we sang well. (We knew we were singing well because it didn't rained after that :P)

and so before we took our leave, we took a few pictures of an unforgettable night and one to make a lasting impression of this visit.

   

Overall, I like this visit. (Y) I give it 5 stars! and to love, “you make real for me” and so thank you so much for today. Love the pictures and please dont sigh if the pictures you gave me were downsized okay? me still love you :)

Things to Expect in the Near Future.

okay, It’s been a while that I have blogged but hello 2010! Like officially. School has started and it’s been a hectic week with IG and Open house and an FYP project invitation by 2 different advisors. More on that later.

Anyway, my weekend will end with a visit to this sky garden above. *hint* guess where. Anyway, this will be a place where I would like to really sit down and look far from the pinnacle of this building as the picture below will clearly explain whats running through my mind

oh yes, its the results of the maths exam coming soon. deep inside me lies this uncertainty. Its hard for me to gauge where I stood amongst the rest.

Hello A*Star!, yes, my FYP team has decided and so it will be our project for our next 2 semesters. As a part of taking up that FYP project, we will be attached to A*Star for several months for IEP until next January and we will be doing our FYP there.

oh and did I tell you that we were approached by 2 advisors wanting us to do their projects? It was one hell of a difficult decision but we decided that doing web design cant be as bad as it seems..or can it?

Well only time will tell…

but I’m looking forward to enter my 1st EVER JOB there.

well, thats it for now…I know it may not seem much but I will try my best to update whenever I can?
